Strategy
This Build makes use of Panel Bug and Card Revive in order to use multiple DreadJokr to block the opponent's panels that they can move on, hence the name of the strategy "Dreadlock".
Thanks to Taurus' innate SuperArmor, this build can freely utilize DblEater as the Default card instead of the more common WrriorSoul, allowing it to remove 3 rows frome the stage on the first turn when paired with just 1 Support Use, making for the ideal position to start spamming DreadJokr in combination of CardRevive.
DreadJokr hits twice if the opponent is right in front of you, meaning that DreadJokrX has the potential to deal 700 damage and Dreadlocking the opponent at the same time.
This Build's strongest and most devastating sequence is surprisingly easy to pull off for the reward you get in return.
FrezKnukle → Charge Shot → Lock-On → HeatUpprX
Dealing a massive 1200 Damage with HeatUpprX, Removing NoFreeze and SuperArmor, this combo is short of game ending, here's what happens step-by-step:
- FrezKnukle: Freezes the opponent and removes NoFreeze.
- Charge Shot: Sets a Grass Panel under the frozen opponent.
- Lock-On: Makes you gain noise by hitting with the card in hand.
- HeatUpprX: Removes SuperArmor and deals 300 x 4 Damage thanks to the opponent standing on a Grass Panel in combination of being Frozen, for a total of 1200 Damage, making you gain 600% Noise.
Ultimately, this Build relies on the stage being at 3x2 and staying at 3x2.
Since the stage resets its size at the end of the 2nd Turn after AreaEater or DblEater have been used, all that needs to be done to prevent the stage from resetting is to use AreaEater or DblEater before those 2 Turns are up, it's advisable to use AreaEater once per Turn, because if the opportunity to Support Use a Card in the Custom Screen is not present before the second turn, the stage will reset to 3x5.
While Panel Bug is used due to the need of Hole Panels to use CardRevive, it also has some pretty useful defensive utility.
DreadJokr Blocks cannot spawn on Hole Panels, that means one could prevent getting Dreadlocked themselves if the panels they are not standing on are Hole Panels, it also helps with Panels like Guard Null and most notably Traps like DoublCross that otherwise counter the strategy.
There are also some downsides to Panel Bug, the most impactful one is DreadJokr not spawning on Hole Panels, so that's something that must be accounted for (although if one does use DreadJokr while standing on a Hole Panel, CardRevive can still be used), the other downside is the Holy Panels from Finalizing, they do not override Hole Panels, and if they do spawn, they won't be there for long as the Panel Bug will eventually crack them when they're stepped on.
CardRevive is strong, but it cannot reuse the same Card twice, so a Card that can be called by CardRevive must be used before you can use it again, it will just "poof" otherwise.
Another application for CardRevive is that it can also call Cards used by your opponent, but the use case for that is niche and it's way more beneficial to reuse DreadJokr.
Another thing that needs a mention is the Charge Shot, thanks to the Noise Card NOISED-B09 the Charge Shot has the Wind element, Cross shape, and it's modified even in Vibrant Form, this is great to get rid of Aura instead of wasting precious Cards or using something that could potentially make one vulnerable.
The end goal of this build is to Dreadlock the opponent, gain Noise, prevent the opponent from Finalizing, and Finalize yourself to finish them.
Other options
This Build is quite lacking when it comes to fast attacks, if 3x FireSlash is not enough, one could opt to remove some cards in favor of more FireSlash.

Another option this build could benefit from is replacing SlowGauge with NormlGauge or not using any Gauge modifying card at all, if one desires to more easily chain the effects of FrezKnukle, StunKnukle, etc.. then a faster Gauge than SlowGauge can be used.
|
3x | NormlGauge |
This Build could also benefit from using the Weapon WhiteFang instead of StormHoop, thanks to it's faster Rapid, it's easier to remove SprBarrier from the opponent, at the cost of having less Charge, but most importantly, the chance of randomly Freezing with a Charge Shot could give a free 1200 Damage HeatUpprX.

If pulling DreadJokr in time is a concern, replacing 3 Ophiuca Brother Bands with Crown can be considered, it also gives a bit more utility to SyncHook1 from the White Cards by blinding opponents without NoFlash for 2 seconds, which could be a bit better than inflicting Confusion for 2 seconds with Ophiuca Multi-Noise due to your opponent not being able to know when you're about to attack.

An alternative set of White Cards: StunKnukle, FrezKnukle, PoisKnukle, DstryUpper (WHITE-PROMO: Fighter's Bible), can also be considered if removing all of the No* abilities from the opponent sounds appealing, PoisKnukle also increases the opponent's HP Bug by 4 levels! making it deadly when hitting two or just hitting one after the opponent used WrriorSoul.
